EthosEnergy opens new workshop in Qatar

EthosEnergy, a service provider to to the power, oil & gas and industrial markets, has opened a new, expanded workshop in the New Industrial Area of Doha.

EthosEnergy said last week that the new workshop was opened on March 1 under the patronage of Qatar’s Minister of Energy and Industry Mohammed Saleh Abdulla Al Sada.

The shop, which is 2,000 square meters, offers extended manufacturing capabilities for rotating equipment parts in the oil and gas and industrial markets as well as repairs services for large pumps, compressors, and steam turbines.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Minister Al Sada, EthosEnergy’s CEO Mark Dobler, CFO Chris Watson, and Regional VP Roger Steward as well as representatives from a range of EthosEnergy customers.

Mark Dobler, CEO of EthosEnergy, said: “The opening of our new shop in Doha allows us to expand our business, offering a wider range of capabilities and services that will add value to our new and current customers’ parts and plants.

The shop consists of two bays of 1,000 square meters each and also features a 25-tonne and 10-tonne overhead crane. It offers a range of services including low-speed balancing, pressure testing up to 10,000 psi, flange facing machines for in-situ work.
