Fairmount Fuji Assists in Well Intervention Job Off Congo

Fairmount Marine’s multipurpose vessel Fairmount Fuji has assisted a team of specialists of Muanda International Oil Company in a well intervention operation offshore Congo, West-Africa.

The Fairmount Fuji was selected for this job due to her spacious aft deck in combination with the accommodation capacity of 40 people.

Throughout the operation the Fairmount Fuji has performed multiple cargo runs between the offshore location and the ports of Banana Port and Point Noire. An average of 25 people were onboard during the operation.

The well intervention operation followed a successful job for Stena Offshore, for which the Fairmount Fuji performed cargo runs from the port of Cape Town, South-Africa, to the drilling rig Stena Icemax. There after the Fairmount Fuji was prepared and mobilized for her job for Muanda International Oil Company in West-Africa.
