FERC dismisses Storm PDO

Storm Inc.’s petition for declaratory order (PDO) requesting that Storm’s mobile natural gas liquefaction unit (LNG in a Box), which would be used to export natural gas, is exempt from FERC’s jurisdiction under the Natural Gas Act, has been dismissed by FERC.

Storm has filed the petition with FERC hoping that the use of a mobile natural gas liquefaction unit would grant them a permit.

FERC dismissed the PDO due to the fact that Strom has not submitted the filing fee within the required time according to the notice issued by the regulatory commission.
