Fishermen’s Energy Breaks Ground in Atlantic City

Fishermen’s Energy held a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday in Atlantic City for its 25MW renewable energy project.

The New Jersey renewable energy developer kicked off onshore cable work for the project that would see  five wind turbines installed off Atlantic City.

The project obtained needed building permits but failed to get the approval for financial support from New Jersey’s Board of Public Utilities.

A New Jersey appeals court has granted Fishermen’s Energy request for oral hearing that will be held in March.
