Flex LNG, the shipping company controlled by billionaire John Fredriksen, received approval to move its listing up to the Oslo Bourse main list.

To remind, the LNG shipping company said earlier this month it submitted an application to the Oslo Bourse to transfer the company’s shares from the Oslo Axess board.

The first day of trading for Flex LNG on the Oslo Bourse main list will be on 18 July 2017.

The company said in a statement it would retain its current trading symbol FLNG.

Flex LNG currently has six MEGI LNG carriers with a capacity of about 174,000 cbm under construction at Samsung Heavy and Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering for delivery in 2018 and 2019.
