Foundation to educate on Texas’ natural gas industry

The state of Texas has established a new source to help educate the public and track natural gas energy trends in Texas and the nation through Texas Natural Gas Foundation.

The education initiative is led by State Representative Jason Isaac and Ken Morgan, director of the Texas Christian University Energy Institute, TXNG said in a statement.

Isaac, a transportation consultant, noted, in particular, that natural gas is an efficient source of energy for industry and transportation, especially for fleet vehicles like buses and local delivery vehicles.

TXNG will report energy production trends, new technology and economic impacts related to natural gas production in Texas. TXNG also plans to work with educators to develop a STEM curriculum unit on natural gas for Texas students.
