Business & Finance

Service hydrographique et océanographique de la marine (SHOM) has announced an invitation for tenders for underwater sonar equipment.

Sonar is a technique that uses sound propagation to navigate, communicate with or detect objects on or under the surface of the water.

In this case the invitation is for supply of underwater, remote controlled sonar buoy tracking devices which would be used at SHOM’s National Hydrographic Office for sea and marine mapping tasks.

Divided into lots, tenders may be submitted for part or whole, and the project would last 48 months from the date of contract award.

The date for submission of tenders is 10. May 2012.
