Fugro Extends Skandi Carla Contract Until 2017

Fugro has extended the contract on the construction vessel Skandi Carla until July 2017.

The Skandi Carla is Fugro’s purpose designed and built ROV survey and construction support vessel which was delivered in July 2001. The diesel-electric NMD Class II DP vessel is equipped with a Simrad SDP22 system interfaced to the Fugro Seastar DGPS, two Simrad HiPAP500 USBL acoustic systems, and a Seapath 200.

Also, DOF Subsea Asia Pacific has entered into contracts in Malaysia and Australia where the vessels Skandi Singapore and Geobay will be utilized. The total value of the new contracts are about USD 65 million.
