Future CEO Appointed at NCE Subsea

Owe Hagesæther has been appointed as the future CEO of Norwegian Centre of Expertise Subsea.

“Among many qualified applicants for the position as CEO of NCE Subsea, Owe stood out as the candidate with the personal and professional skills we are looking for,” says Tove Ormevik, Chair of the Board for Norwegian Centre of Expertise Subsea (NCE Subsea).

“With his vast experience and an outspoken urge to develop NCE Subsea further we are confident that he will continue to develop the organization according to the ambitions defined by the Board and the cluster participants,” says Ormevik.

Vast Experience

Mr. Owe Hagesæther has more than 25 years of varied experience from management positions, international sales, business development and board positions.

He has experience from industries such as oil & gas, banking & finance, IT & telecom, energy, governmental, consulting and maritime technology. Mr. Hagesæther is an entrepreneur and former Founding Partner of Nordic Integrator Group.

Mr. Hagesæther holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Bergen and an MBA in Strategic Management from Norwegian School of Economics.

Owe Hagesæther is currently employed as CEO of Sea Hawk Navigation AS, and will take up his position as CEO of Norwegian Centre of Expertise Subsea (NCE Subsea) 1. March 2014.
