Gabon: Sea Trucks Wins Pipe Lay Contract from TOTAL


Sea Trucks Group (“Sea Trucks”), one of the largest and fastest growing oil and gas marine contractors in West Africa, announces the contract award from TOTAL Gabon for the installation of a 32 km pipeline between the Anguille and Torpille fields offshore Gabon.

The project comprises a full EPIC scope of work including the engineering, procurement and installation of 32 kms of 18” concrete coated gas pipeline and associated hardware, diving work, fabrication and installation of spools and topside modification works.

After a number of successful accommodation / lifting contracts for TOTAL in West Africa, this contract represents Sea Trucks’ first pipe lay project for TOTAL in the region. Jascon 34 is one of the DP3 vessels in Sea Trucks’ fleet well-suited to execute the work.

The installation work is expected to start in Q2 2012.
