Siem Symphony launched in Polish yard

The Siem Symphony is designed by Finland’s Wartsila for safe and reliable services to offshore installations. The vessel is environmentally friendly with focus on dual fuel consumption, MDO and LNG.

Following of the installation of large modules at Halsnøy Dock in April, the vessel, of Wärtsilä VS 4411 DF ship design, is expected to be towed at Hellesøy Verft in Norway for the final outfitting.

Siem Symphony is the company’s first LNG powered PSV. The vessel will work with a subsidiary of the French oil major Total. The PSV will serve the Martin Linge oilfield, North-West of Stavanger, Norway. It has been designed to specifically meet TOTAL’s North Sea operational requirements.
