Gasum Appoints Executive VP

Johanna Lamminen, CEO of Danske Bank Plc, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Gasum.

She will take up the post on 1 September 2013. Gasum’s CEO Antero Jännes will continue in his present post until the end of February 2014, when he will retire according to the terms of his service contract.

Johanna Lamminen has long experience within the finance sector. In addition to having worked for Danske Bank, she has also worked for Evli Bank and for other companies in economy, finance and organisational development positions.

Johanna Lamminen holds a Licenciate in Science (Technology) from Tampere University of Technology and completed an MBA degree in 1999.

“The change in our business environment, i.e. the opening up of the natural gas market, will significantly reshape Gasum’s operations over the next few years. The company is currently also making preparations for major investments,” notes Jorma Eloranta, Chairman of Gasum’s Supervisory Board. ”Johanna Lamminen’s long experience in the finance sector and in business development will help the company to prepare for the challenges ahead.”
