Gate to receive Hammerfest LNG cargo

Dutch Gate LNG terminal in the port of Rotterdam is scheduled to receive a cargo of the chilled gas from Statoil’s Hammerfest plant in Norway.

The 155,000 cbm GasLog Saratoga departed from the liquefaction plant on the island of Melkoya on Saturday.

It is expected to dock at the Gate terminal around June 11, according to shipping data.

Gate terminal received 372,000 tonnes of LNG in the January-March period, a 186.8 percent rise compared with the same period last year.

Overall, LNG throughput (incoming and outgoing) at the terminal was 517,000 tonnes in the period, a rise of 138 percent compared to 2014.
