Sochi hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Algirdas Butkevicius, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania.

The parties addressed a wide range of issues regarding the bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, including near-and mid-term gas supplies from Russia to Lithuania, as well as the reliability of Russian natural gas transit across Lithuania,” Gazprom said in a statement.

Gazprom exports natural gas to the Republic of Lithuania under long-term agreements effective through to 2015. According to preliminary data, Gazprom supplied 2.7 billion cubic meters of gas to Lithuania in 2013.
