Gazprom elects Alexey Miller for another 5-year term

Russian energy company Gazprom informed on Tuesday that the company has re-elected Alexey Miller as Gazprom Management Committee Chairman for a 5-year term.

According to the company, the terms starts from May 31, 2016.

Gazprom said on Tuesday that the Board of Directors addressed the issue of electing Gazprom Management Committee Chairman and unanimously decided to re-elect Alexey Miller as Gazprom Management Committee Chairman.

Gazprom previously re-elected Miller as Gazprom Management Committee Chairman for a 5-year term on March 22, 2011.

Miller graduated from Voznesensky Leningrad Finance and Economics Institute and holds a PhD in Economics.
