Gazprom Export ups small-scale LNG supplies to Europe

Gazprom Export said it has increased small-scale supplies of liquefied natural gas to European consumers.

The company made another shipment of LNG to Polish clients. Gas is being delivered from a small-scale LNG and CNG plant in Kaliningrad operated by Gazprom Gas-Engine Fuel that has been recently put back into operation after upgrade, the company said in a statement.

This plant has a production capacity of 3 tons LNG per hour (21 thousand tons per year) and contains a CNG filling station with a capacity of 6 thousand cubic meters per day.

Currently, LNG from the plant is being delivered by trucks to industrial and utility consumers in Poland that do not have access to pipeline network.

In the future there are also opportunities to supply LNG to the Baltic States, Gazprom Export added.
