Gazprom eyeing JV with Bapex

Russian Gazprom is investigating an option of setting up a JV with Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company, for oil and gas exploration.

The proposed JV could be used to identify and implement new projects in Russia, Bangladesh or any third country, reports Platts.

Besides the onshore and offshore exploration, Gazprom International CEO Valeriy Gulev proposed exploration for hydrocarbons in Myanmar.
