GE wins DSLNG maintenance contract

Donggi-Senoro LNG and GE Oil and Gas Indonesia signed a 102 million euros (US$108 million) worth long-term contract for the LNG plant equipment maintenance. 

“The work scope of GE Oil and Gas Indonesia is to monitor and maintain the existing equipment at the site, both GE and non-GE manufacturing, including the personnel assignment at the site to guarantee plant operation,” DSLNG informed in a statement on Monday.

US$2.8 billion Donggi Senoro LNG plant at Banggai Regency of Central Sulawesi province, has entered the operation phase in June 2015 and started delivering LNG cargoes to both domestic and international markets since the beginning of August.

DSLNG has penned LNG sales and purchase agreements for long-term supply with Chubu Electric, Kyushu Electric, and Kogas.

LNG shipments have already been delivered to Kogas and Kyushu Electric, with another liquefied natural gas cargo set to be delivered to Chubu Electric of Japan by the end of the year.
