TGE Marine Symposium Addresses LNG Topics

On 21st June and for the 17th time running – TGE Marine hosted its acclaimed Symposium in Bonn Germany. High profile speakers from Anthony Veder, Wison, Joachim Grieg and Bureau Veritas addressed topics such as the world’s first LNG-FLSRU, design concepts of small LNG-carriers, LNG fuel gas systems as well as the implication of the new IGC-Code.

The international event attracted approx. 50 attendees including key decision makers from ship owners to classification societies as well yards, e.g. ABS, CNOOC, Dalian Inteh, GasChem, Gasfin, GDF Suez, Jiangnan, Japan Marine United, Kosan, MAN, Moran Towing, Odfjell and Schulte Group.

According to Manfred Küver, TGE Marine’s CEO “the Symposium proved to be a huge success once again. Not only did the excellent speeches provide in-depth knowledge on the next generation of small gas carriers and fuel gas systems but the Symposium is also the perfect forum for industry experts from around the globe to exchange views on the current issues facing our business.”
