Gloryholder to supply LNG fuel gas systems for chemical tanker duo

EPC provider Gloryholder has signed a contract for the supply of LNG fuel gas systems to two dual-fueled chemical tankers.

Gloryholder said that the deal was for the designing and supplying LNG fuel gas supply system for two 22,000 dwt chemical tankers with Wuhu Shipyard.

According to the company, the systems will be delivered to Wuhu shipyard in 2020. The shipowner is Swedish Rederi AB Donsötank, the design company is FKAB, and the vessels will be classified by DNV-GL.

Gloryholder added that the ice-class 1A, dual-fuelled, 22,000-dwt newbuilds will be designed with low-resistance hull features.

The LNG fuel gas system delivered by Gloryholder LGM includes two sets of 300 cbm LNG liquid cargo tanks with integrated tank connection space, LNG bunkering station modules, water-glycol system, commission, crew training, and onsite services.

To remind, Gloryholder was recently awarded a contract to design and supply the LNG cargo handling and fuel gas supply system for a new 6,000-cbm LNG bunkering vessel being built by Damen Shipyard for Eesti Gaas.
