According to GMS’ statement on Wednesday, its customer is an international EPC contractor, for which GMS will provide support for offshore activities on behalf of a Middle East national oil company.

The work will be undertaken in United Arab Emirates waters, where the vessel has already been mobilized for the project.

Utilization of GMS’ K-Class fleet now stands at 83%, the company said.

Tim Summers, Executive Chairman, commented: “We are encouraged by the steady emergence of new tenders in our core Gulf market, which will allow GMS to focus on building towards full utilization of all classes of vessel in our fleet.”
