GM&T completes sale of German retail unit

Gazprom Marketing & Trading on Monday informed it has completed the sale of its German unit, Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Germania (GM&TRG) to goldgas, a VNG company.

The sale was revealed in January and is part of Gazprom’s strategy to provide energy only to business customers, Vitaly Vasiliev, CEO of GM&T said.

Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Germania will be renamed goldpower under goldgas’s ownership.

GM&T is a unit of the Russian giant Gazprom, serving as its global energy marketing and trading company.
