Goodwood Gets ABS Certification for Implementation of EMS (Singapore)

Goodwood Ship Management Pte Ltd has announced on 11 January 2013 that the Company become the first Ship Operating Company in Middle East, Asia and Pacific region and third Globally to be certified by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for the implementation of Energy Management System on board the managed vessels.

Goodwood’s Management Systems were certified following five days of Audit by an ABS audit team for compliance with “Marine Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management”. This achievement further reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable operations and improving energy performance in accordance with ISO 50001.
