Maran Gas Maritime, a unit of Greece’s Angelicoussis Shipping Group, has taken delivery of a brand new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier.

The Greek-flagged LNG carrier named Maran Gas Hector has a capacity of 174,000-cbm, Maran Gas said through its social media channels without providing additional information.

The dual-fuel diesel-electric (DFDE) vessel has been built at Hyundai Samho, a unit of South Korea’s shipbuilding giant Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Maran Gas Hector is added to Maran Gas’s already operational fleet of 21 LNG carriers.

The shipping company’s order book currently stands at 10 LNG vessels, according to its website.
