Hannon Westwood chooses new CEO

Exploration research & analytics firm Hannon Westwood, part of the ESIA group of companies, has announced the naming of Richard McGrath as Chief Executive Officer.

According to the company, Richard McGrath has experience in information service businesses with organisations such as Standard & Poors, Platts, American Metal Market, and private equity funded Espresso Education. A graduate of Colgate University, McGrath has previously served as an economist and data products manager at the Florida Exploration Company in Houston and at Data Resources Inc. (now part of IHS Inc.).

His experience across a variety of sectors, and track record in delivering organic growth initiatives, brings fresh ideas and insight to ESIA and we are delighted to welcome him on board.”

In addition to his role as CEO of Hannon Westwood, McGrath will also be leading Group initiatives in client facing activities, strategic and commercial development.

Hannon Westwood, with its headquarters in Glasgow and offices in Aberdeen and London, offers advisory and intelligence services for the oil and gas industry and is part of the ESIA (Energy Software Intelligence Analytics) group of companies.

ESIA is a business intelligence company formed in January 2015 by Energy Ventures, an energy specialist private equity firm.
