Hantong Ship Heavy Secures Eight BCs for Conti Reederei

Hantong Ship Heavy Industry announced today that the shipyard and Germany-shipowner Conti Reederei have singed contract for the construction of eight 63,800 dwt dry bulk carriers.

The fuel efficient bulk carriers, designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (Sdari) based on its Dolphin 64 model, will be built at one of the Hantong’s subsidiaries Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (NHT).

The vessels will be delivered from 1st quarter of 2015.
