“The ability of the OSM crew to maintain four years of operations without witnessing an LTI is a reflection of OSM’s commitment to service excellence to both its internal and external stakeholders,” OSM said in the release.

The OSM Crew of 22-24 persons have one year onboard the vessel inshore in Eydehaven, Norway during its completion followed by three years offshore in the Ekofisk and Eldfisk fields in the North Sea.

Haven received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in July 2011 and in August 2011, ConocoPhillips received consent from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway to use jack-up rig Haven on Ekofisk field.

The owner of the jack-up rig is Master Marine AS,  the charterer is ConocoPhillips and the manager  is OSM Offshore AS.

Commenting on the accomplishment, OSM Offshore Manager Director, Eivind Nordal, said: “This exceptional achievement is a validation of the safe work culture on our vessels. I commend the commitment, dedication, and effort of the ‘OSM Haven’ team in maintaining its focus on operational excellence. With this milestone we have convincingly demonstrated that we can consistently operate our vessels incident free with the proactive implementation of our HSEQ and operational processes.”

“OSM hopes that by recognizing safety milestones like with Haven, that we will deepen company-wide awareness and strengthen an incident-free work life culture,” OSM explained.
