Heerema Marine Contractors appoints new CCO

Heerema Marine Contractors, a Dutch offshore construction contractor for the oil and gas industry, has announced the appointment of Harke Jan Meek as the new Chief Commercial Officer.

Heerema Marine Contractors said on Tuesday that Harke Jan will take over as CCO on June 1 and become the member of the Board. In this capacity, he will be responsible for commercial and technology departments.

Meek joined Heerema Marine Contractors in 2012 in a commercial and business development role for SURF projects and was appointed as Senior Vice President Commercial in October 2013.

Before joining the company, he worked in Business Development functions for SBM Offshore and on LNG projects for Shell.
