The contract has a value between USD 150 million and USD 300 million. Along with the EPCIC contract, Ophir Energy has awarded the contract for future inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) services to Subsea Integration Alliance.
The vessel will be capable of installing rigid flowlines including pipe-in-pipe systems from shallow waters to depths of up to 3000m.
They have been manufactured at the Aveon yard in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. TechnipFMC provides project management, engineering, procurement, and construction for Egina’s entire Subsea Production System (SPS) scope.
The scope of this project includes trees, subsea manifolds, control system, tie-in system, multi-phase meters, intervention tooling and test equipment for the R Cluster field.
“After 12 great years working for the Bibby Line Group and having successfully delivered our new SOV Bibby WaveMaster 1 and secured the first two contracts, I announce that I will retire at the end of November,” Blaikie said.
