Durrat, $150m dredging contract

Durrat Al Bahrain has signed a $150m agreement with Durrat Al Bahrain and Great Lakes-Nass for reclamation, dredging and shore protection for the second and final phase of the project, reported Gulf Daily News. The work is expected to be finished within two years. Durrat Al Bahrain is co-owned by Kuwait Finance House and the Bahrain government and includes five petal-shaped islands, six atoll islands, a central island and a crescent-shaped island.
