Obama Triggers $104M Phase 1 Investment At Guam Port
President Obama asked for it, Congress granted it, and now it’s up to the Department of Defense to give it. $50 million in funding for Guam’s port modernization is as good as in the bank. And with it, Guam’s commercial port can also move forward to secure a U.S. Department of Agriculture loan for $54 million. The $104 million package will allow the local port to begin phase one of its modernization plan.
