Former Crisfield shipyard sold again

The fourth owner in about as many years has control of the city’s former Steuart shipyard — illustrating, property watchers say, the lucrative real estate market in rural Lower Shore waterfront communities. “There was a profit involved; you won’t die rich if you don’t get a profit,” said Rick Evans, an owner of Chesapeake Realty, the Crisfield real estate firm that brokered the deal. “The property runs overboard, to the water’s edge.”
