Salvors vying for Agulhas contract

THE deadline for submission of tenders for the removal of the Safmarine Agulhas wreck has been extended by a week until next Wednesday.

The ship finally snapped in half on Saturday after being battered by merciless seas for more than a month.

The Daily Dispatch yesterday learnt that a salvage company asked for the extension to complete tender documents.
