VOR: Racing continues

ABN AMRO TWO, after a period of reflection aboard when they slowed right down, has gybed and is now heading east at 18 knots. For a while there was a plan that they would rendezvous with a German freighter in the vicinity to transfer Hans Horrevoets to a vessel with better facilities, but the five metre seas and the inherent difficulty of transferring the body, plus the possibility of damage to the Volvo Open 70, resulted in that plan being abandoned. They now plan to head towards Portsmouth as fast as they safely can.
