Clipper 05-06: Race 11 Begins

The fleet started racing today, in position N40 40.5 W070 08. The start signal was given by the Duty Skipper Tim Magee on Liverpool 08 at 1345 UTC, with the boats lined up north to south.

Tim reported “WA, durbs and jersey had the initial best start but cardiff and wa
slightly to windward are ahead at the mo. Everyone went for yankee
no 1, staysails and full mains. Weather a little squally but mostly holding
with a northly 3”
