HVS Floats Product Tanker ‘High Sun’

Hyundai – Vinashin Shipyard has launched a new 50,000 DWT Product Tanker ‘High Sun’.

The launching ceremony for the Hull No. S408 was attended by the representatives of d’Amico (the owner of the vessel), HVS, and class (RINA).

The main particulars of the vessels are as follows:

• Length : 183 m
• Breadth : 32.2 m
• Depth : 19.4 m
• Cargo capacity: 54,300 m3
• Speed : 14.5 knots

The vessel is slated for delivery in May 2014.
