Hydrasun Names New Business Development Manager (UK)

Hydrasun, a leading specialist provider of integrated fluid transfer, power and control solutions to the global energy market, announces the appointment of Steve Hanson as business development manager to further drive the company’s sales growth plans within the subsea marketplace both in the UK and overseas.

Hanson joins Hydrasun from Parker’s SnapTite Autoclave division, one of Hydrasun’s key suppliers, and brings with him more than 33 years’ experience in the global oil and gas industry. He has established a successful track record with key oil and gas customers in Northern Europe, the Middle East, the Caspian and Africa with extensive experience of developing sales within the North American marketplace having been based in Houston for several years.

Whilst at Parker SnapTite Autoclave, Hanson played a pivotal role in the appointment and then development of the Hydrasun relationship which now sees Hydrasun firmly established as the world’s largest distributor of the Autoclave range of products which includes Quick Disconnect Couplings and High Pressure Instrumentation Valves, Fittings, Tubing (VFT) and Pump solutions.

Hydrasun’s exclusive UK distributor status for the Parker Autoclave product range complements its already established sole Scottish distributor status for Parker’s Instrumentation product range, with Hanson’s appointment further strengthening Hydrasun’s ability to offer customers access to an unrivalled off the shelf product range, unrivalled back-up support and service and expert technical knowledge.

Hydrasun currently exports to over 50 countries and has further international operational bases established in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Brazil and The Netherlands as well as a presence in West Africa and US Gulf of Mexico.

Hydrasun has grown to have over 600 employees, the majority of which are based in the UK.
