India: Goa Shipyard Receives ICC PSE Excellence Award 2011

Goa Shipyard Ltd, was conferred the ICC PSE Excellence Award 2011 in the Mini Ratna Category at the hands of Shri Bhaskar Chatterjee Secretary Department of Public Enterprises Govt of India, at an impressive ceremony held in New Delhi. The award was received by RAdm (Retd) Vineet Bakhshi, Chairman & Managing Director.

PSE excellence awards is a joint initiative of the Department of Public Enterprises, Govt of India and Indian Chamber of Commerce in acknowledgement of outstanding initiatives of various Central Public Sector Enterprises in diverse aspects with a view to motivating the CPSEs to persevere in their endeavours even as they may meet with numerous challenges. Chief Executives of various CPSEs and other dignitaries from various Administrative Ministries and Departments were present on the occasion.
