Petronet’s Dahej LNG terminal on India’s west coast received a cargo of LNG onboard the 138,097 cbm Disha from Qatar on Friday, according to shipping data.

Petronet has this year received environmental clearance from India’s Ministry of Environment & Forests for doubling the capacity of the Dahej LNG import terminal.

The company plans to run its Dahej terminal at 15 million tonnes per annum capacity by November 2016, Petronet’s Managing Director A.K. Balyan said on Wednesday.
