Petronet LNG, India’s largest importer of liquefied natural gas, said Tuesday it named a new finance head of the company.

Subhash Kumar has been appointed as finance director of the company starting August 5, Petronet LNG said in a brief stock exchange announcement.

Kumar replaces R K Garg who retired in July this year after serving as finance chief of Petronet for seven years.

Petronet currently imports LNG via its Dahej and Kochi LNG terminals and is planning to build a third terminal at Gangavaram, Andhra Pradesh.

The Dahej terminal has a capacity of 10 million mt per annum while Kochi plant’s capacity is double less, at 5 million mt per year.
