Indonesia: FPSO BW Joko Tole Receives First Gas

BW Offshore, Norwegian owner of Floating Production Storage Offloading units, has confirmed that its FPSO BW Joko Tole has received first gas on the Terang Sirasun Batur (TSB) field offshore Indonesia.

The final acceptance tests have successfully been completed and the firm contract period has started. BW Joko Tole arrived on location offshore Indonesia on 6th of April 2012.

BW Offshore has a ten year firm contract with Kangean Energy, with options for additional four years.

The partners in Kangean Energy and the TSB field are: Energi Mega Persada (50%), Mitsubishi (25%) and Japan Petroleum Exploration (25%).
