Indonesia agrees to sell 18 cargoes to BP Trading

Indonesia agreed to sell 18 cargoes of LNG from its Bontang plant to BP Trading through 2015, said the country’s energy regulator SKKMigas.

Gas will be sold from the Bontang plant under a price of $14.80 per mmbtu, and this year will see the delivery of 8 cargoes while the remaining 10 will be delivered next year, Reuters informs.

The Bontang plant is jointly operated by Pertamina , Vico Indonesia, French oil major Total and an Indonesian subsidiary of Japan’s Sumitomo Corp and Sojitz Corp.
