Japanese LNG terminal developer, Inpex on Friday informed it has completed the construction of the Toyama Line.

The 103-kilometer natural gas trunk pipeline network supplies natural gas from the Naoetsu LNG terminal in Joetsu City, Japan.

The construction of the pipeline began in April 2012 with construction works done in June. Month later, Inpex began partial operation of the Toyama Line, supplying natural gas to Nissan Chemical Industries.

Inpex will also start supplying Nihonkai Gas on October 27, under the sales and purchase agreement signed in January. Once the supply begins the pipeline will become fully operational.
