Investe SP Supports Accelerate Oil & Gas 2013 Forum (Brazil)

Investment Promotion Agency of Sao Paolo, Investe SP, linked to the Department of Economic Development, Science and Technology confirmed to support Accelerate Oil & Gas 2013 expo-forum which will be held on 21-22 May at the Windsor Barra Hotel, Rio de Janeiro.

Investe SP will hold an exhibition at the event as a way to provide free services for companies willing to invest or expand businesses in Sao Paulo and in addition, President Luciano Tavares de Almeida will share the closing session with the aim to present investment opportunities in oil & gas sector in the State of Sao Paulo. The agency’s main objective is to attract foreign investment to the state and increase the competitiveness of the state economy by identifying, supporting and assisting investors in private and public sectors.

According to National Petroleum Agency (ANP), Sao Paulo refines 44% of oil in Brazil, besides being responsible for significant production of oil products such as gasoline, LPG, diesel, kerosene and many more. With the discovery of pre-salt layer in the Santos Basin, oil & gas sector has become increasingly important for the development of the state economy.

Therefore, the participation of Investe SP at the event will be an opportunity for the agency to seek new investments, identify technological innovations and establish new relations with the key players in oil & gas market.

To optimise the networking opportunities with industry players’, organisers of Accelerate Oil & Gas provided delegates with “Meeting Manager” online tool which allows delegates to pre-schedule private meetings through an online platform prior to the event.
