Italy: BlueView Inks Integration Agreement with Ageotec

BlueView Technologies, the world leader in compact acoustic imaging and measurement technology, and Ageotec, an Italian Company operating in the field of underwater and oceanographic technologies signed a Systems Integrator Agreement that enables Ageotec to re-sell BlueView 2D and 3D products on Ageotec Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

Ageotec’s main reference markets are connected to oil and gas-offshore, environmental engineering, underwater and marine building, development and production of subsea robotics, probes, science research and security in the marine field. BlueView’s compact, real-time multibeam imaging sonar will expand Ageotec’s capabilities in low and zero visibility conditions.

“Many of our offshore oil and gas customer are familiar with BlueView 2D Multibeam Imaging Sonar for low and zero visibility conditions. We plan to add value for these customers who need to use our ROVs in very hard conditions where only Blueview 2D multibeam systems are able to support them” said Vincenzo Mauro, Ageotec Managing Director.

“Ageotec’s wide range of ROVs enables them to meet a wide variety of customer needs which aligns perfectly with BlueView, having the largest selection of 2D Mulitbeam Imaging Sonar – creating perfectly matched systems to meet specific customer applications,” said Beto Campos, BlueView Director of Global Commercial Sales & Business Development.

BlueView is the leader in 2D imaging and 3D scanning sonar technology with more than 500 installed systems worldwide. BlueView Technologies’ advanced sonar systems are currently deployed on AUVs, ROVs, surface vessels, fixed positions, and portable tripods, and have been adopted by leading manufacturers and service providers to support mission critical operations. BlueView customers enjoy a low cost of ownership with reliable operation, exceptional service, in-person training, extensive online information, and worldwide after-sale support.
