Discharge operations were separated in five slots, one in June and two in July and August each, with the total LNG quantity reaching approximately 700,000 cubic meters, OLT said in its statement.

An equivalent of 450 million cubic meters of gas was regasified and injected into the storage system of the Italian gas storage operator, Stogit.

LNG cargoes were sourced in four different countries, including Norway, Nigeria, Qatar and a first ever delivery to Italy from Peru.

Norwegian cargo was delivered aboard the Arctic Discoverer in June, GasLog Savannah delivered the Peruvian cargo in July followed by Trinity Arrow with a cargo from Nigeria later that month.

Arctic Discoverer made a second delivery at the start of August with the last cargo under the tender procedure delivered from Qatar aboard the Al Thakhira LNG carrier.
