LNG Tanker Due at Futtsu Tomorrow

Japan, the world’s largest LNG importer, is due to receive an LNG cargo from Malaysia this week, according to port data.

The cargo is being carried by the 137,000 cbm Pacific Eurus, and it is expected to arrive at the Futtsu terminal on March 9.

The Futtsu Thermal Power Station, one of the most representative power stations using LNG, is operated by Tokyo Electric.
