Japan: Tokyo Gas Aug Sales Up 1.2 Pct
Total gas sales volume by Japan’s Tokyo Gas for the month of August 2013 came to about 1,084.742 million m3, up 1.2% from August 2012.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 126.627 million m3, down 6.8% from August 2012, while in the business sector volume totaled 261.05 million m3, almost the same as August 2012 (down 0.3%).
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 162.47 million m3, down 1.5% from August 2012, due to the decreased demand of the other companies.
