Japan: Tokyo Gas November Sales Up 17 Percent

Total gas sales volume by Tokyo Gas of Japan for the month of November came to about 1,148.604 million m3, increased by 166.877 million m3 (17.0 %) from that in November 2011.

In the residential sector, volume totaled 255 million m3, up 13.7% from November 2011, while in the business sector (consisting of commercial, public, and medical use), the volume was 180.519 million m3, up 8.0% from that in November 2011.

In the industrial sector, volume totaled about518.757 million m3, up 25.4% from last year.

Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled about 194.328 million m3, up 10.1% from last year.

Gas sales volume for the cumulative period of April to November 2012 was 8,608.738 million m3, up by 5.3%.
