JS Announces Senior Management Changes, UK

J+S Ltd recently announced some changes in the Senior Management of the company.

Andy Toms, current Director Defence, has been appointed as Managing Director Designate/Chief Operating Officer. This appointment comes into effect from 25th February. Current Managing Director David Jeffries has been appointed as Executive Chairman, with effect from mid March. Henry Warren, who has chaired the board since 2008, will remain as a non-executive director. It is anticipated that Andy will be formally appointed as Managing Director by the end of September.

Paul Parsons has also been promoted to the role of Director Defence Designate. Following Andy’s formal appointment, it is anticipated that Paul will be confirmed as Director Defence and a Board Director of the company.

Commenting on these changes, Andy Toms, future Managing Director said:

“I am delighted to be taking over from David at the helm of J+S. We have enjoyed a very successful period of growth and the company now stands on the threshold of significant overseas expansion which is both challenging and exciting. We have built sound foundations for a successful engineering business and I look forward to leading the company through the next, very exciting phase of its development.”

David Jeffries observed:

“J+S is in good shape in all three of our key markets; Defence, Oil and Gas and Marine Renewable Energy. After five years as Managing Director, I think it is time to pass the baton to Andy. I am delighted we have been able to make these appointments internally and am sure Andy will take the company forward to scale new heights.”
